Caring for Your

Succulent Arrangement

Succulent Arrangement

Basic Care

Light

Your arrangement will thrive in at least 6-8 hours of bright, indirect sunlight a day or 4 hours of direct morning sun; avoid direct afternoon sun.

Water

Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Weekly, check with a soil moisture meter. Alternatively, insert a wooden stick, such as a skewer or chopstick, into the soil and remove. If the stick is dry, then it is time for watering. Using a squeeze bottle or spray bottle on the stream setting (do not mist), water each plant close to the base until the top 2" of soil is moist. Houseplants in an arrangement may require more frequent watering.

Note: Depending on the season, watering frequency will vary. Succulents require less water in the winter.

Repotting

After a few months, when you notice that your plants have outgrown the planter, it is time to repot. It is best to use a fast-draining soil, such as a succulent or cactus mix available at your local nursery.
